My name is Ngwatle Tshokollo from Burgersfort, Limpopo. I am a first year Medical Student at the University of Limpopo.

During my first here as a medical student it was a complete chaos and disaster. I didn't know where to begin with my studies or what to expect in the medical studies I dedicated my life to.

The person who gave me hope is Dr Teffo, the Founder of the Dr Bolavis Foundation. She is sweet and welcoming. She is so far the best mentor I ever had in my life. Dr Bolavis Foundation picked me up from the disastrous week I faced as a first-year medical student. It gave me notes and the framework of the content that I will face in order for me to become a good medical student. The Foundation boasted my confidence and increased my passion for pursuing a career in medicine and surgery at the University of Limpopo.

Dr Bolavi Foundation is really a savior when it comes to shaping and creating good young doctors. I hope and I believe that I have a good future because of this Foundation and I pray for it to continue blessing others.

I had a rough year in 2024😔,I almost took a break last year because I felt that I'm not coping academically, then the award came as a God sent, when I needed reassurance directly from Him, that He has and will always make a way even when we feel inadequate and drained❤️❤️

Whenever I'm facing a storm, can be academically or other areas, I look at my trophy and hold on to the believe that wa re tshephishitseng wa tshephagala🙏🏿🙏🏿❤️❤️❤️

I'm holding on to the believe that the Award giving ceremony is the best thing to ever happen to University of limpopo Medical students🙏🏿🔥
